For all you pro-sellers out there you’re already well familiar with the hustle of the season. Now, with word out for a second Prime Day this year it’s time to square-away and level-up.
How can sellers get ahead of the curve?
We’re glad you asked.
Shopping holidays like Amazon Prime Day are historically an advantageous way to launch new products and ship out hard-to-sell inventory.
Adhere to Inventory Deadlines
Ensure you’re fully in stock in anticipation for Q4, fulfill shipments by next week September 12 at the very latest! Given the increase in Fulfillment Center indexing timelines, the rush for inventory is on.
Amazon inventory won’t be FBA active until November unless sent out by September 12. Plan ahead and strategize for any obstacles or setbacks that would prohibit you from sending.
Maintain IPI Scores
Keep an Inventory Performance Index (IPI) score above 450 and avoid stock limits for coverage fees.
Running out of stock damages your sales and rankings, don’t let it be you. Opt for Fulfilled by Merchant (FBM) as a backup to handle the process if FBA sells out.
